Mark Roberts (streaker)

Mark Roberts ( born December 12, 1964 in Liverpool, England ) is an internationally become known British streaker who has pushed naked into the action at various events.

The starting point was a rugby match of the Hong Kong Sevens 1993 in Hong Kong for Mark Roberts. There he saw a woman who flitted naked across the pitch. It was a bet in the evening at the bar - and the next day Roberts was the one who ran on the same playing field naked. But not enough, he repeated this act a day later.

By 2005 Roberts had 380 such acts on his account.

One of his most famous assignments was in a live broadcast on ITV breakfast show This Morning. In this show, he went naked to the weather map.

In 2003 he was cheating himself - dressed as a referee - in the interior of the stadium in Seville and flitted in the UEFA Cup final. This coup he repeated in 2004 in the United States at the Super Bowl in Houston, Texas. Almost immediately after the " Nipplegate " scandal of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, he ran after half time naked on the field. Players of the two teams (New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers ) hunted him, police and security forces were able to make it. On this occasion he wore a tattoo on the back, which made advertising for an internet casino. Another appearance of Roberts was at a cricket match between England and Australia. At the Olympic Winter Games 2006 in Turin Roberts disrupted the match between the USA and Great Britain for the bronze medal in curling. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he managed again to set the scene. Dressed only in a tutu he galloped in a riding competition around on the race course and jumping over small obstacles.

Roberts must now face significant matches to give up his passport and other documents to prevent that he " dashes " on these occasions. Extra for the 2006 World Cup in Germany he received a travel ban by the British government.

2011 committed the artist Benedikt Dichgans Roberts for intervention during the awarding of the prestigious Turner Prize for visual arts.
