Mark Shield

Mark Shield ( born September 2, 1973 in Fortitude Valley, Queensland ) is an Australian former football referee.

The company director conducted his first international match on 22 January 1997 ( New Zealand national football team against Norway) and was from 1 January 1999 FIFA referee. He has already worked during the Football World Cup 2002 in Japan and South Korea as Impartial and currently holds the record for the youngest referee in the World Cup finals (28 years at the World Cup 2002).
