Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Centre

The Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Centre ( Ολυμπιακό Ιππικό Κέντρο στο Μαρκόπουλο ) is an equestrian center in Markopoulon in Athens. It was a competition venue for the Olympic Summer Games 2004.

Construction

The relatively central area of ​​the old racecourse ( near the Karaiskakis Stadium ) in Faliro was too small and only partially suitable for the activities of equestrian clubs that you wanted to combine in one place.
