Markus Kleinheinz

Markus Klein Heinz ( born August 27, 1976) is an Austrian luge athlete who previously participated for Austria at two Winter Olympic Games in Einsitzerwettbewerb.

The 1,80 m big time soldier of the Austrian army lives in Neustift in the Stubai Valley and starts for the sports club Igls. The Tyrolean took previously at two Winter Olympic Games took part and thereby positions five ( Nagano 1998) and eight ( Salt Lake City 2002 ). At the World Championships he won in 2005 and 2003, the fifth to sixth place in the single-seater. In luge World Cup he achieved several podium places ( rank 1 to 3) in single race as well as the overall World Cup victory of the season 2002/ 03. Other good places occupied in the World Cup he 2005 ( 3rd place) and 2004 ( 5th place).
