Markus Mendler

Markus Mendler ( born January 7, 1993, Memmingen ) is a German football player.
Life
Mendler grew south of Memmingen in the Upper Swabian Legau. When TSV Legau he began playing football before he moved to FC Memmingen. There he was discovered for the career building squad of the Bavarian Football Association, with whom he was in the U -15 German masters.
2008 Mendler transferred to 1 FC Nuremberg, where he went through the other youth teams. As A Teenager, he was invited on a trial basis for the training of professional team. In an international break, the Bundesliga he came in September 2010 in a friendly game of professionals as a substitute for Mike Frantz used and impressed with a good performance and a free kick. On October 16, Frantz fell before the match against FC St. Pauli injured and Mendler went as a substitute to Hamburg. When the club end of the game lagged, he came in the last minutes of the game for his first Bundesliga use in the attack. In early November, his contract prematurely extended by three years to 2014.

National
In the season 2010/11 Mendler was first nominated for a German junior national team. On 16 November 2010 he made his debut in the U -18 and was at the end in his year with five goals in seven games leading scorer. At the end of the season he was honored as the third- best player in the U-18 Junior by the DFB with the Fritz -Walter - Medal in bronze.
After that, he also belonged to the U-19 national team and was there regularly used. In 2012, he was, however, an injury completely and it took until March 2013 to Mendler for two games of the German U -20 against Switzerland returned to the junior national team.
