Markus Neumayr

Markus Neumayr ( born March 26, 1986 in Hoesbach ) is a German football player.

Career

As a teenager, Neumayr played for Viktoria Aschaffenburg and SpVgg Hoesbach station, before joining the youth of Eintracht Frankfurt. DFB coach Bernd Stoever called Neumayr in the squad of the Under-17 national team. In 2003 he was transferred to the youth of Manchester United, where he aufrückte a year later in the reserve and in 2005 turned professional team. There he was promoted to captain while the reserve team, but was not used in games the first team.

For the 2006/07 season Neumayr returned to Germany. For MSV Duisburg he played his first professional game, where he was employed at right midfield. Overall, he came into the season on five missions. After the rise of Duisburg he completed in the coming season on 1 September 2007 after a short Substitutes before the final whistle his first minutes in the Bundesliga. It then took until the end of the season, however, until he came to two more brief appearances. At the end of the 2007/ 08 Duisburg got down to the 2nd Bundesliga.

For the 2008/09 season, he joined the Belgian first division side SV Zulte Waregem, but where he stayed only until the winter break. He then moved to Rot-Weiss Essen in the Regionalliga West. On 15 April 2010 it was announced that Neumayr had signed a one-year contract with Wacker Burghausen season 2010/11. But even during the winter break of 2010/11 he joined the Swiss first division club FC Thun, where he regularly came into use, but not firmly played. In mid 2011, he plays for the Swiss second division side AC Bellinzona.
