Markus Reiter

Markus Reiter ( born August 10, 1976 in Essen) is a German former football player and current football coach.

Career

Markus Reiter began his professional career in 1994 at MSV Duisburg, where in his first season with the club he descended directly from the first Bundesliga. The Duisburgern succeeded in the following season, the direct re-emergence, where riders came to ten inserts. In 1998, the MSV Duisburg the final of the DFB Cup, had been used without riders.

In summer 1998, he moved to Borussia Moenchengladbach, who also descended in the following season. Already in the 2000/ 01 season ended Markus Reiter his career as a professional footballer for SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

He was considered a great talent and played from the U-17 national team for Germany in the power cadres.

Markus Reiter is a certified sports scientist and also has the A license as a football coach. Among other things, he coached the second team of MSV Duisburg, having previously been in charge of the Under-17 Junior of Rot-Weiss Essen. He took over for the 2012/13 season the team of SC Wiedenbrück 2000 as head coach, but was there discharged in November, 2012. The following year he returned as an assistant coach for MSV Duisburg.
