Markus Schuler
Markus Schuler ( born August 1, 1977 in Loeffingen ) is a former German football player. He graduated for Arminia Bielefeld and Hannover before 96 182 Bundesliga games.
Career
He began his career at SV Feldberg, in which he was active until 1994. He then moved to FC Loeffingen to then play in 1996 for a season at FC Neustadt. In the 1997/98 season he packed then the shoes for the FV Donaueschingen, where he was spotted and committed by second division club SC Fortuna Köln. After the descent of Fortuna, at the Schuler rarely stood in the starting eleven, joined the Left Wing 2000 1 FSV Mainz 05, in which he soon had a regular place and was retrained by the offensive player to the full-back - a role he continues interpreted comparatively offensive. Schuler left the DSC after the end of the season 2011/12. The Bielefeld would like to keep him as an assistant coach, but Schuler wanted to return for family reasons, to his home in Baden- Württemberg.
In his second league assignments with Fortuna Köln and 1 FSV Mainz 05 Schuler scored three goals. Scored for Fortuna in the city duel against 1 FC Cologne on April 9, 2000 In the 2001/ 02 season, including the pre-decisive 3-1 he rise against a competitor and his later club Hannover 96 in the equalizer to 1:1. Gameday On 14 this season Schuler received his only previous dismissal in professional football. Schuler is in terms of goals scored by the " least successful " field in the Bundesliga history. By the end of the 2008/ 09 Schuler graduated 182 Bundesliga games without ever meeting itself, prompting Thomas gauge (180 games without a goal ) in this rating.
He is married and has one daughter.
