Marky Ramone

Marky Ramone ( born July 15, 1956 in New York City as Marc Bell) is an American drummer. He achieved international fame was known as a member of the U.S. punk band the Ramones in 1978.

Career

Marc Bell was 1971-1972 member of the band Dust, with which he recorded two plates. In 1977, he took the New York punk band Richard Hell, The Voidoids, Blank Generation on the album.

In 1978, Marc Bell was the successor of drummer Tommy Ramone member of the Ramones existing since 1974 and took, following the band principle, the pseudonym Marky Ramone on.
