Marlene Ahrens

Marlene Ahrens Ostertag ( born July 27, 1933, Concepción ) is a former Chilean athlete, who took in the javelin.

In the second half of the 1950s and the first half of the 1960s she was the dominant South African athlete of their discipline and won, among others, one behind the other four continental championships. In addition, it secured two gold medals at Pan American Games and was the first South American javelin thrower ever to have won at these competitions.
