Marlene Moses

Marlene Moses Inemwin (* 1961 in Aiwo ) is a Nauruan politician and co-founder of Naoero Amo Party. Since 30 March 2005 is the UN Ambassador of the Republic of Nauru in New York.

Moses graduated after their basic education in the Canberra College of Advanced Nauru University and Monash University in Melbourne. She began her political career in 1983 as an employee of the Office for Foreign Affairs. In 1988, she became consul in Tokyo and 1991 Consul General in Auckland. In 1995 and 1996 she served as assisting director of external departments, 1999 and 2000 as secretary of the Interior Department. Moreover, Moses was also a member of the Nauru Rehabilitation Corporation.

By 2003, Moses served in the Ministry of Health. With the inclusion of Nauru to the United Nations, she was appointed Deputy Ambassador. In March 2005, Moses Vinci Clodumar replaced as ambassador to the UN in New York.
