Marlene Zapf

Marlene Zapf ( born January 6, 1990 in Landau ) is a German handball player. The 1.70 meter tall left-hander plays both right back as well as right winger.

Career

Marlene Zapf began in 1995 when TV 03 Wörth with the handball. From 2005 she played at TSG ketch, where she belonged to the squad for the Bundesliga team already from the 2006/07 season. 2009 Zapf moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. In 2010 she won the DHB Cup with the elves. In February 2014 it was announced that they will accrue from the 2014/15 season for TuS Metzingen.

Her debut for the German national team was Marlene PTO on November 28, 2010 in Rotenburg an der Fulda against Austria. She has played 33 international matches in which she scored 99 goals. With Germany, she participated in the World Cup in 2013 and scored 17 goals in seven games.
