Marlow (Buckinghamshire)

Marlow ( 14,000 inhabitants, formerly Great Marlow or Chipping Marlow called ) is an English town on the River Thames.

It lies on the River Thames, just off the A 404, which intersects the north- east of the village with the A 4155. After High Wycombe in the north is also to Maidenhead in the south about 6 km. Reading is located 15 km to the southwest and to the Airport to Heathrow in the southeast is around 20 km away.

The city is known for its Marlow Bridge, one of the oldest suspension bridges in Europe, which was built by William Tierney Clark 1829-1832. Also worth seeing is the church of All Saints.
