Marly (Nord)

Marly is a commune with 11,646 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Nord, in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais. It belongs administratively to the canton in the arrondissement of Valenciennes Valenciennes -Est and is a member of the Association of Municipalities Communauté d' agglomération de Valenciennes Métropole.

The place is just a few kilometers southwest of the Belgian border near Mons on the Autoroute A2 and the Route nationale 45

End of the 19th century there was here a workshop Cie. de Construction de Marly- lez- Valenciennes.
