Maro Engel
Maro Engel ( born August 27, 1985 in Munich) is a German racing driver. In 2007 he was runner up in the British Formula 3 Championship. He started from 2008 to 2011 for Mücke Motorsport in the DTM.

Career
Beginnings in motorsport
Engel began his motorsport career in karting, where he was active until 2000. In 2001 he moved to Formula racing and finished third in the German Formula BMW Junior. The following season, he competed in the German Formula BMW and closed the championship in eighth place from. In 2003, Angel in the Formula 3 Euro Series for Opel Team KMS. Angel grew up in Monte Carlo, Monaco, on. Angel went along with Nico Rosberg to school and is friends with him. Keke Rosberg is responsible for Engels first motorsport experience, because he persuaded Engels father to give him the sixth birthday a kart. Earlier, two months older Nico Rosberg a kart had been given. Michael Schumacher is a good friend of Engels parents.
