Marquard Bohm

Life

Marquard Bohm was the younger brother of actor and director Hark Bohm.

Bohm was one of the Young German Film -known performer. He had also become internationally known for his work with Rainer Werner Fassbinder in The American soldier and in Animal Crossing. He also collaborated with his brother Hark Bohm as well as Rudolf Thome, Wim Wenders and Helmut Herbst.

Outstanding is its role as a Kid in the film Deadlock, a German post-modern Western Roland click.

From 1986 to 2000 he worked at the Schauspielhaus Bochum under the superintendent Frank - Patrick Steckel and Leander Haussmann; there he was on quirky supporting roles, V.A. in productions by Jürgen Kruse and Frank Castorf specializing.

Marquard Bohm died after prolonged health problems in Wetter of heart failure.
