Marquess of Queensberry Rules

The Queensberry Rules refer to the basic rules of the modern sport of boxing.

After they were in 1865 by John Sholto Douglas, 9th Marquess of Queensberry, and the British athlete John Graham Chambers designed and published in 1867, they found in the 1880s at the World Championships in the heavyweight first application. Since 1892, only boxed still after them.
