Career

College in the United States (2005 to 2010)

After attending school in a high school of his native town Haynes moved in 2005 to study at Boston College, where he played for the college team Eagles that were changed in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC ) of the NCAA. In their first season in the ACC, the Eagles, where Haynes together played with the later Basketball Bundesliga player Tyrese Rice won, the semi-finals of the championship tournament against the renowned Tar Heels of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but then lost the final against the Blue Devils of Duke University. In the nationwide NCAA finals they moved into the third round of "Sweet Sixteen", in which one by extension lost the Wildcats Villanova University. This was the farthest advance of the Eagles in this competition since 1994. Having one was the Tar Heels inferior in ACC 2007 in the semifinals of the championship tournament this time, they lost in the second round of the NCAA finals to the eventual semi-finalists Hoyas Georgetown University. Afterwards, Haynes decided to change university and went back to Texas, where he continued to study at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA ).

After his high school exchange Haynes, 2007 was approved according to the regulations of the NCAA for one season not for championship games. In the 2007 /08 season, he then reached for the high school team Mavericks again into the action. However, the Mavericks were from 2008 in the less prestigious Southland Conference not defend their championship and did not qualify in the following season for the national finals of the NCAA. However, Haynes was able to increase his own personal stats over his time at Boston College and achieved significantly in 2009/ 10, the most points by a player in a single season in the history of the Mavericks the highest points average. With the points average of 22.8 points per game, he scored a player's third highest average points throughout the NCAA this season and became the " Southland Conference 's Player of the Year" in 2010 appointed. However, Haynes failed in the subsequent summer in trying to get a place in a squad a team of the most highly doped professional league NBA, which he never succeeded in the summer of the following year.

Professional career in Europe (since 2010)

After the failed attempt to get a contract in the NBA, therefore, Haynes began his professional career in 2010 in the French LNB Pro A in the first division Élan Sportif from Chalon -sur -Saône. After winning the cup competition " Coupe de France " was pulled as the main round of third parties in the play-off final series for the championship one in which one by one opening win in the first round the following two players against giants ASVEL lost and was eliminated in the first round. Haynes had now taken the citizenship of Georgia and participated as a national team of his adopted country at the European Championship finals in 2011, in which the national team after two first round wins in five games reached the qualification for the second round of the twelve best teams. There, however, was followed by three more defeats and the Board before the final round. With the Georgian citizenship Haynes increased its market value in Europe, as it now fell under less restrictive foreigner restrictions for Europeans, and could sign a contract in the Spanish ACB League for the season 2011/12. With the Serie A club and vormaligem play-off participants from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, however, he reached in the 2011/12 season only a 14th place among 18 teams and missed the final round for the championship clearly.

For the 2012/13 season Haynes then wrote a contract with the German first division Artland Dragons in the National Basketball League. Like a year ago with Gran Canaria you retired after the first round of European club competition ULEB Eurocup. Even in the national championship, the talented team could not reach their full potential, and retired after a sixth place in the main round of the first round of the play -offs for the championship against the former runner- ratiopharm Ulm. Then Haynes was hired by the Italian first division EA7 Armani in Milan, with whom he is also playing for him the first time, in the highest European club competition ULEB Euro League.
