Marreese Speights

Marreese Speights (* August 4, 1987 in Saint Petersburg, Florida ) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays on the positions of power forward or center in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors.

In NBA Draft 2008, he chose the Philadelphia 76ers from ranked 16th. In the first two years, he came to an average of 16 minutes operating time per game. In the third year he plays an average of only 11.5 minutes.

On January 4, 2012, he moved to a transfer involving the New Orleans Hornets to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies gave it from Xavier Henry and a second-round draft pick. In his first season in Memphis Speights was regular for the first time in the starting lineup.

On January 22, 2013 Speights was transferred from the Grizzlies in a trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In return, Forward Jon Leuer moved to Memphis.
