Marsha Ambrosius

Marsha Ambrosius ( born August 8, 1977 in Liverpool) is an English R & B singer and songwriter.

Biography

Marsha Ambrosius became known as one half of the R & B band Floetry. After three very successful albums in the U.S., the duo split and Ambrose began a solo career. She signed with the label Aftermath by Dr. Dre, but there was no publication and so they separated again in 2009. The singer has collaborated with other artists such as Alicia Keys, Mario and whales before she signed with J Records.

The end of 2010 they released their first solo single Hope She Cheats on You, which made ​​it straight into the U.S. charts. The debut album Late Nights & Early Mornings was released in February 2011, and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200.

Marsha Ambrosius is also a successful songwriter for others. Among other things, she was co-author of Butterflies by Michael Jackson, which reached # 14 in the U.S. in 2002.
