Marshall Goldsmith

Marshall Goldsmith (born 20 March 1949 in Valley Station, Kentucky) is an American professor, business consultant and author of management literature. One focus of his work is the personal development and training of managers. Marshall Goldsmith is one of the pioneers in the use of 360 ° feedback.

Life

Marshall Goldsmith was born in Valley Station, Kentucky, United States. His academic background is a Bachelor of Science ( 1970) from the Rose - Hulman Institute of Technology, an MBA (1972 ) from Indiana University and a PhD from UCLA (1977). He was from 1976 to 2000 Assistant Professor at Loyola Marymount University 's College of Business. Currently (2010) he is a professor at the Alliant International University and is a lecturer at Dartmouth College 's Tuck School. Marshall Goldsmith lives with his wife, Dr. Lyda Goldsmith, in Rancho Santa Fe, California, USA.
