Marshfield is a city in Webster County in the U.S. state of Missouri. In 2000, Marshfield, the county seat is at the same time, 5720 inhabitants.
Geography
Marshfield is located in southern Missouri. According to United States Census Bureau, the total area of 12.5 km ² land area.
History
Marshfield was settled in 1830. The city's founding, but was only 1856. Initially grew Marshfield very slowly. This only changed when the town was in 1870 connected to the railway network.
