Marta Kristen
Marta Kristen ( born February 26, 1945 in Norway), actually Birgit Annalisa Rusanen, is an American actress.
Life
Kristen was born as the daughter of a Finnish mother and a German in Norway. My father was killed in World War II and her mother she gave up for adoption. In 1949 she was adopted by an American family from Detroit, who gave her the name Marta. Ten years later, she moved with her family to Los Angeles and attended high school in Santa Monica.
By the early 1960s, and she received several guest roles on television series such as Dr. Kildare and The Man from UNCLE before she received in 1965 one of the main roles in the series Lost between alien worlds ( Lost in Space ), which she played until 1968 in 84 episodes, and by which it was known in the U.S. nationwide. After the series ended, she turned first to the education of her daughter, born in 1969 and played during the 1970s and 1980s only scattered roles, mainly in series. Movie roles she had, among others, in men like the tigers and Sador - ruler in space. In the remake of Lost in Space, she had a cameo.
Kristen is married to his second wife and has two children.
