Marta Roure

Marta Roure Besolí ( born January 16, 1981 in Andorra la Vella, Andorra ), is an Andorran singer.

Roure comes from a musical family. Her great-grandfather was trumpeter, composer, her grandfather and her father Jordi Roure i Torra leads a big band trumpeter and trumpet instructor. Her aunt, Meritxell Roure Morist, is a piano teacher, as well as her sister Anna Roure. Your music education at Conservatorio de Música Roure graduated d' Andorra. As a guitarist, pianist and singer, she began her career at age 17 as a member of the Big Band her father. Then she played in numerous orchestras and bands.

The December 20, 2003 she was selected punts of the Andorran television together with a duo until a Bis, for mission 12. In the competition she was able to prevail and flew for Andorra, which participated for the first time, the Euro Vision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul. She was in the semifinals only 12 points from Spain and thus did not have the semi-final addition. After the Euro Vision Song Contest, she released her debut album Nua.

Today she works in Barcelona Departament d' Educació ( " Ministry of Education "), the Catalan Autonomous Authority Generalitat de Catalunya.
