Martha Brooks

Martha Brooks ( born July 15, 1944 in Ninette, Manitoba ) is a Canadian writer and jazz singer.

Martha Brooks is one of the leading youth book authors in Canada. Martha Brooks lives in Winnipeg, where she teaches at the high school Creative Writing.

In 2007 she won the Vicky Metcalf Award.
