Martha Hudson

Martha Hudson ( born March 21, 1939 in Eastman, Georgia, after marriage Pennyman ) is a former American track and field athlete and Olympic champion in 1960.

It was 1959 Hall of AAU champion over 100 yards. At the U.S. Olympic trials, she qualified for the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960.

In Rome she was disqualified in the intermediate run of over 100 meters. With the U.S. 4 x 100 - meter relay team won gold. The occupation of Martha Hudson, Lucinda Williams, Barbara Jones and Wilma Rudolph presented in advance with 44.4 s a new world record.
