Biography

The first World Cup points Donnet brought on 13 December 1978, when he completely surprising ago Peter Lüscher and Christian Neureuther won the slalom of the 3 - Tre race in Madonna di Campiglio. In the course of the 1978/79 season he scored another four placings in the top ten, which brought him in the slalom World Cup rankings to tenth place. In the following season 1979/80 he did not reach this level, a tenth place was his best result. Since he could not qualify for the Olympic Winter Games in 1980, he declared to the end of the season for his resignation.

Donnet leads a hotel in Morgins and was for 25 years president of the local ski school.
