Martijn Maaskant

Martijn Maaskant (born 27 July 1983) is a Dutch racing cyclist.

Martijn Maaskant began his career in 2003 at the Dutch cycling team Van Vliet - EBH- Gazelle. In his first year he won a stage of the Olympia's Tour for themselves. Since 2006 he is traveling at Rabobank Continental, the farm team of the ProTour team Rabobank. There he won the third part of the Tour de Normandie and was a week later second in Hel van het Mergelland. Since 2008 he is a member of the team Slipstream - Chipotle. At the race Paris-Roubaix, he finished a surprising fourth place.
