Martin A. Hainz

Martin Andreas Hainz ( born March 5, 1974 in Vienna) is an Austrian German studies, literature and translation theorists.

Life

Hainz taught and researched at the Universities of Vienna, Timisoara, Iasi and Trondheim. He is an Humboldtian, furthermore, inter alia, Member of the North Eastern Language Association ( NEMLA ). He is currently working on a Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock project and teaches at the Free University of Berlin with the Department of General and Comparative Literature.

Hainz is mainly active in the field of literary theory and its relationship to literature, poetry and philosophy or theology. His priorities are Paul Celan and Rose Auslander, at the historical-critical edition he is involved, Klopstock, and Theodor W. Adorno, Peter Szondi and the deconstruction of Jacques Derrida. This is reflected in his style, which is knowledge medium, so also updates the literature theoretical assessment of the linguistic in- theory text, such as in poetic means, but also in the fact, sometimes dealing with a subject in several essays that complement each other, the term the constellation committed.

Likewise Hainz research on border zones, that is, Translation issues, but also neglected authors such as Leopold von Sacher- Masoch, Alfred Margul sparrow-hawk, and the philosopher Constantin Brunner. In the Chernivtsi and Bukovina research Hainz represents a new concept in this context of multiculturalism from the difference. In the field of translation theory his band was the Happiness of being infected intensively discussed and assessed by Modern Austrian Literature as "beyond praise".
