Martin Abraham

Martin Abraham ( born September 20, 1978 in Moravian Třebová ) is a Czech football and futsal player.

Club career

After three smaller clubs Martin Abraham played in 1993 for FC Boby Brno. There he was to write a kind of blank 1997, contractual, in which both content and duration would have been unknown to him. He refused and was initially hired for half a year to the then third division side FC Brno Zeman then. He was so convincing that the club signed him for 180,000 crowns fee. In the season 1999/ 00 played the midfielder for FC Roubina Dolni Kounice, also in the third-class MSFL.

In January 2001, Abraham was obliged by the first division club FC 1 Slovácka. There Abrahám played regularly and came to 95 games. For the season 2005/ 06 he moved to Slovan Liberec, with whom he became Czech champion.

Nevertheless, he joined the Vice- champions FK Mladá Boleslav, where he remained but only one season. In July 2007 he was engaged by Sparta Prague. In Sparta Abraham remained only half a year, on 15 February 2008, he moved to city rivals Slavia Prague.

In August 2008, Abraham was loaned for six months at the Cypriot club AEK Larnaca after him coach Karel Jarolím had previously suspended. Then Abraham returned to Slavia Prague, where he had a valid contract, but was no longer in the squad. In January 2010, Abraham moved to end of the season on loan to second division side FC Tescoma Zlín. In August 2010, he spent one year at the Wehen. On 10 January 2012, the club announced that the remaining until June 2012 contract is terminated with immediate effect. Thus he returned 21 January 2012 back to the Czech Republic and signed for the Gambrinus Liga club FC Bohemians Prague in 1905 .. On 18 July 2012, he signed a contract with the German Oberliga Budissa Bautzen ( Oberliga Nordost - South), which is already 14 days later was dissolved.

National

Martin Abraham was called into the squad from the Czech coach Karel Brückner for the two qualifiers for the 2008 European Championship on 7 October 2006 against San Marino and on 11 October 2006 against Ireland, but sat in two games on the substitutes' bench.

Futsal

Prior to joining the 1st FC Slovácka Martin Abraham was also one of the best Czech futsal players. He played in the first league for Helas Brno and from September to December 2000, four times in the Czech Futsal National Team. For the season 2008/ 09 he was a comeback for the SK Olympik Melnik.
