Martin B. Gold

Martin B. Gold ( born 1947 in New York City, USA ) is a partner in the law firm Covington & Burling Washington, DC, co-chair of the Legislative Practice Group of the company and member of the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America 's cultural heritage abroad ( United States Commission for the Preservation of Americas Heritage Abroad ).

Gold gained his experience in the legislature, among other things during his time as legal counsel of former Senate Majority Leader Howard Baker and former Senator Mark O. Hatfield. He was also founder of the company Gold & love Good and the legislature Strategies Group, two leading lobbying firms in Washington.

He also lectured at the Russian Federal Council, the Parliament of Ukraine, at the University of Moscow, at the Office of Foreign Service in Russia and previously at numerous American universities on the political development of America and the parliamentary procedures of the U.S. Congress. On the recommendation of the temporary president of the U.S. Senate, President George W. Bush appoints him in 2006 as a member of the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America 's cultural heritage abroad.

Martin B. Gold was as an honor for his work in public service in the Cosmos Club in Washington DC selected.
