Martin Bregman

Martin Bregman ( born May 18, 1931 in New York City ) is an American film producer.

Life

His debut as a producer was Bregman 1973 with the movie Serpico. Also two years later turned film drama Dog Day was created under the collaboration with director Sidney Lumet. For this Bregman was nominated for Best Picture for the Oscars in the category. In 1985, he first worked with the director, actor and screenwriter Alan Alda, who directed the film Sweet Liberty. Several other films followed. In addition, Bregman produced several films in the 1990s by Russell Mulcahy, among others, the comic book adaptation of Shadow and Curse of the Khan in the year 1994.

Produced in 2002 by Martin Bregman movie Pluto Nash - In the fight against the Mafia moon is regarded as one of the biggest movie flops.

Martin Bregman is married to his second marriage to actress Cornelia Sharpe. From his first two sons, a daughter from the second date.
