Martin Britt

Martin Charles Britt ( born January 17, 1946 in Leigh-on -Sea ) is a former English footballer.

Career

Britt saw his career highlight before his professional time to the youth of West Ham United. In the final of the FA Youth Cup in 1963 against Liverpool, he first achieved in the 1-3 first-leg defeat the only goal of his team in the second leg at Upton Park, he met in a 5-2 success and the associated title four times per head.

His league debut for the first team West Ham United was the center forward in May 1963 against Blackburn Rovers, with whom he should change three years later for £ 25,000. In his three seasons at West Ham, he completed a total of 20 league games, scoring six goals. Because of an already suffered at West Ham serious knee injury, he had to quit a short time later his career.
