Martin Buchan

Martin McLean Buchan (born 6 March 1949 in Aberdeen) is a former Scottish footballer.

Career

Playing career

The defensive midfielders played at Manchester United from 1972 to 1983, where he was captain in the late 70s. He signed the contract with the Red Devils on February 29, 1972., The transfer fee, which went to the FC Aberdeen, was the equivalent of approximately € 184,000, which was the then-record at Manchester United.
