Martin Čížek

Martin Čížek ( born June 9, 1974 in Vítkov ) is a former Czech football player.

Club career

Martin Čížek began playing football at TJ Dolni Lhota, the age of ten he moved to the youth department of Banik Ostrava. In the 1991/92 season, the midfielder made ​​his debut in the first team. After 103 games and 22 goals the left-footed moved to Sparta Prague in early 1997, for whom he played for two years.

In early 1999 Čížek was committed by the Bundesliga side TSV 1860 Munich, for he graduated from 33 games. A goal he did not achieve it. In the summer of 2000 Čížek went to SpVgg Unterhaching, where he experienced the descent into the 2nd Bundesliga.

According to the 2001 /02 season Čížek returned to his former club Banik Ostrava. First, he still belonged to the permanent staff, in the second half of the 2005/06 season he played less often. In the summer of 2006 Čížek was retired to the high content also because of its leadership for the club and then ended his career.
