Martin Creed

Martin Creed ( born 1968 in Wakefield ) is an English artist who was known for his based on the conceptual art of the 1960s and 1970s works. He won the 2001 Turner Prize.

Life and work

Martin Creed was born in Wakefield and grew up in Glasgow. He studied from 1986 to 1990 Art at the Slade School of Art at University College London.
