Martin Deschamps

Martin Deschamps ( born June 23, 1970 in Quebec ) is a Canadian rock singer.

Life and career

Deschamps was born with deformities of all four limbs, it lacks the left arm and right leg, and he has only two fingers on his right hand. When he was 9 years old, he moved with his family to Rawdon. In school, he was not excluded despite its anomalies. With 11 years Deschamps learned drums, at age 15 he played on the bass guitar and sang. Six years he worked as a graphic designer at the company Bell.

Deschamps ' career began in 1996, when he participated with his own band Deep Freeze on a music competition on Canadian television, and was honored as the best singer. Then he was invited to replace the deceased in the meantime lead singer Gerry Boulet in the reunification of the blues-rock group Offenbach. In 2003, he released his third solo album Lé Desert. Martin Deschamps is an active member in the band Offenbach.
