Martin Fink

Martin Fink ( born February 5, 1950 in Munich) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU) and in 2008 was briefly a Member of the Bavarian Parliament.

Education and work

Martin Fink attended the Economic and Trade School and became in 1966 the average maturity. 1966 to 1968 he attended the School of Agriculture and 1971-1972 Landvolkshochschule. In 1974 he was agriculturalist and took over the family farm.

Martin Fink is Roman Catholic, is married and has three children.

Policy

Martin Fink was 1973-85 Member of the Junge Union and since 1976 the CSU. Between 1972 and 1978 he was a councilor in Argelsried. Since 1984 he is speaker of the council as well as CSU parliamentary group in Gilching and county council since 2002 in the district of Starnberg.

On 1 May 2008 he moved according to the state parliament for Dr. Jacob Kreidl. He is representing the electoral district of Upper Bavaria. In Parliament he is a member of the Committee on Municipal issues and homeland security. In the parliamentary elections on 28 September 2008 he could not collect as a list candidate for the District of Upper Bavaria, due to the high losses of the CSU back in the parliament.

Other offices

Martin Fink is involved in a number of honorary positions. He is since 1976 a member of the master's examination committee Upper Bavaria / Swabia, since 1998 Board member of the Bavarian Forest Bauernschule Goldberg. Since 1986 he is member of the Conservation Advisory Board of the district of Starnberg. 1991 to 2001 he was the first chairman of the Forestry Association of Upper Bavaria.
