Martin Fowler

Martin Fowler (born in 1963 in Walsall, England) is an author and renowned speaker on the topic of software architecture, specializing in object-oriented analysis and design, UML, Design Patterns and Agile software development.

Fowler started with software development in the early 1980s, wrote five major books on software development and is one of the first signatories of the Manifesto authors and for agile software development.

Today he works as a lead developer at ThoughtWorks consulting company.
