Martin H. Greenberg

Martin Harry Greenberg ( born March 1, 1941 in Miami Beach, Florida, † June 25, 2011 in Green Bay, Wisconsin) was an American anthologist and writer who created mainly anthologies on the subject of science fiction and fantasy.

Life

Martin Greenberg, born in 1941 in Miami Beach, had political science at the University of Miami studied in 1969 received his doctorate at the University of Connecticut and taught from 1975 to 1996 at the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay.

The number of compiled by Greenberg anthologies is greater than 1000. Together with Tom Clancy Greenberg wrote several novels of the series Tom Clancy's Power Plays. In 1995 he was awarded the prize Ellery Queen Award for lifetime achievement. He was also the winners of two Anthony awards.
