Martin Hill (visual effects artist)
Martin Hill is a VFX Supervisor, the 2013 Prometheus - was nominated for an Oscar Dark characters in the category Best Visual Effects.
Life
He studied architecture and mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. He then received his Master degree of Science in Computer Animation at Bournemouth University in Bournemouth. After graduation, he worked for four and a half years with the special effects studio Double Negative. During this time he worked on films Duell - Enemy at the Gates, Die Another Day and Riddick: The Chronicles of Riddick.
Then he moved to Weta Digital, where he worked on films such as King Kong, Avatar - worked An Unexpected Journey - Film Title, and The Hobbit. In 2013 he was for the movie Prometheus - Dark characters nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
