Martin Lachkovics

Martin Lachkovics (born 25 January 1975 in Vienna) is an Austrian athlete and Bobsportler.

In his career he won 42 state titles and was 1996 and 2000 Olympian. He was military Vice World Champion in the 100 -meter run in 1999. Since 2006 Lachkovics is a member of the Austrian Bobsleigh Association and brakeman in the team of Wolfgang Stampfer. The Dipl. -Ing. Medical computer science and Mag ( computer science management ) has reached another goal of his athletic career by participating in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. His greatest successes in bobsleigh were the two fourth places in the two-man and four-man at the 2010 European Championships, three third-place finishes in World Cup races during the seasons from 2006 to 2010, and the sixth rank in the two- at the World Championships in 2007.
