Martin MejstÅ™Ãk
Martin Mejstřík (born 30 May 1962 Kolin ) is a Czech politician and civil rights activist.
Life
Mejstřík was before and during the Velvet Revolution in 1989, which led to the overthrow of the then ruling communist regime, political and active in journalism. He is regarded as one of the " leaders " of that time.
In the years 2002-2008 Mejstřík a member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. He is an honorary member of the city council of the First Prague district.
Mejstřík one of the signers of the Declaration on Crimes of Communism from the year 2010.
