Martin Mystery is a French-Canadian animated series. Production started in 2003 and ended in 2006., You revolves around the adventures of the main character Martin Mystery, who follows with his half-sister and her friend supernatural events.

Content

The 16- year-old Martin Mystery is the paranormal fascinates and works together with his half-sister Diana Lombard and her friend Jenny on behalf of the Organization The Center. This deals with supernatural phenomena. From her boss MOM, the three teenagers are sent to different parts of the world to elucidate events which experiences the organization. It also comes to the fight against the creatures that the three meet, with them, the variety of technical equipment by The Center is a help. In addition, however have Martin and his friends visit the school and deal with everyday problems there.

Martin Mystery is a 16- year-old who is fascinated by the paranormal. He loves to watch horror movies or play video games, instead of learning and is in love with Jenny.

She is the half sister of Martin. In contrast to Martin Mystery she spends her time studying and is very smart. Her best friend is Jenny.

Java is a caveman who often accompanies the group and help them. He is strong but has always had problems with modern technology.

Billy is an alien friend of Martin. It moves with a little flying saucer and works in the office of The Center. Sometimes it takes on the appearance of a man.

M.O.M is the patroness of the center. She is strict and fears the arrival of Martin Mystery in their office, because it often leads to disaster.

Jenny is the best friend of Diana. Although Martin is in love with her, but she does not reciprocate that love.

Production and publication

The series was produced and directed by Stephane Berry and Gregory Panaccione at Image Entertainment Corporation and Marathon Productions. The music is by Fabrice Aboulker and the artistic direction was Stephane Berry. Marathon Productions took over and the international distribution of the 66 episodes series.

The 23- minute long episodes were first aired from October 1, 2003 at YTV in Canada. On 27 March 2006, the broadcast ended after three seasons. From Canal J and M6 in France, the series was shown. The first German broadcast took place on 6 December 2003 to 22 May 2004 in the ProSieben. It was followed by several repetitions at Fox Kids, Kabel 1, Jetix and in programs of Premiere.
