Martin Penc

Martin Penc ( born January 25, 1957 in Prague ) is a former Czechoslovak cyclist.

1980 Martin Penc won at the Olympic Games in Moscow, the bronze medal in the team pursuit, together with Igor Sláma, Teodor Černý and Jiri Pokorny. The following year, the Czechoslovak train of four ( Penc, Aleš Trček, Frantisek Rabon and Eugeniusz Pokorny ) was third at the track world championships. In the UCI Track World Championships 1985 in Bassano del Grappa was Penc world champion in the points race. In the Track World Championships in Maebashi Japanese he finished third in the same discipline.

1990 started Penc and the Russian Marat Satybaldijew first professionals from the former Soviet bloc at the Berlin Six Day Race; the team finished fifth.
