Martin Reimann

Martin Reimann (born 1978 ) is a German economist. His research interests include marketing strategy and consumer behavior, particularly neuroeconomics and neuromarketing.

Life

Martin Reimann studied business administration at the University of Passau and at the Leipzig Graduate School. He was Doctorate at the Technical University of Freiberg. He was also a Research Fellow at the psychology department at Stanford University and a lecturer at the Technical University Munich and the EGADE Business School of the Tecnologico de Monterrey (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey).

He worked at the Department of Psychology and the Brain and Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California. He is the founder of the English Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics ( JNPE ), a journal of the American Psychological Association (APA). Reimann habilitated in June 2009 at Margit Enke at the Technical University of Freiberg.

Martin Reimann was appointed as successor to Bernd Erichson to the Chair of Marketing at the Otto -von- Guericke- University of Magdeburg in the winter semester 2010/11. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Arizona for the fall of 2013.
