Martin Venix

Martinus "Martin" Venix ( born March 4, 1950 in Tilburg ) is a Dutch former racing cyclist and two-time world champion stayer.

1974 and 1976 was Martin Venix Dutch stayer Master, then he trrat to the pros over (until 1985 ). 1979 and 1982 he was professional world champion of the uprights behind the pacemaker Norbert Koch. He was the last Dutch stayer ever world champion ( 1994, this discipline by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI ) from the WM program taken ).

Venix won several times the Dutch title in stayer as in Dernyrennen. In addition, he stood at the European Championships several times on the podium.

Martin Venix also participated in 79 six-day races, but never won. Twice, in 1979 and 1980, he finished in second place with Montreal Gerben Karstens.
