Martina Jentsch

Martina Jentsch ( born March 22, 1968 in Leipzig) is a former German gymnast devices. Your home club was the SC Einheit Dresden.

Martina Jentsch reached at the World Championships 1985 in Montréal seventh place in the all around and got bronze in the team of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). In 1986, she won two league titles in the GDR: On the ground and in the horse jump. Your title on the ground could defend Jentsch, 1987, at the European Championships in 1987 she placed seventh in the all around. At the 1987 World Championships, she was the second time a member of the East German team that won bronze. Also at the 1988 Olympics, the East German team won bronze, Martina Jentsch, however, was injured during duty and could not help their team in the freestyle. In the same year she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.

After the end of their sporting careers Martina Jentsch moved to Cottbus.
