Martina Strutz

Martina Strutz (* November 4, 1981 in Schwerin ) is a German track and field athlete who competes in the pole vault. It starts with the SC Neubrandenburg.

Martina Strutz won the 2006 in the hall their first national title, but missed at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in ninth qualifying with 4,45 m just the final. At the European Championships in 2006 it was 4.50 m Fifth, where she set a personal best. On 12 July 2011 they improved the German record of Annika Becker at the athletics meeting in Karlsruhe by one centimeter to 4.78 meters. At the German Championships in Kassel, she won with 4.65 m skipped before Silke Mirror Castle. At the World Championships in Daegu she improved on 30 August 2011 the German record again to 4.80 m and thus won silver.

June 30, 2012 Martina Strutz was at the European Championships in Helsinki with 4.60m in the second experiment ( season best ) European silver medalist.

At the Olympic Games 2012 in London, she finished fifth with a height of 4.55 m ( behind Silke Spiegelburg, 4.65 m).
