Martten Kaldvee

Martten Kaldvee ( born April 30, 1986 in Tallinn) is an Estonian cross-country skier and biathlete.

Martten Kaldvee, son of Urmas Kaldvee biathletes, is a student and lives in Tallinn. In cross-country skiing, he was primarily active between 2004 and 2006 and launched here for Sport Club Nõmme. Highlights were here the use of a 15- kilometer race of the cross country skiing World Cup in Otepaeae in which the Este was 56, and the Nordic Ski World Youth Championship 2005 in Rovaniemi. He was inducted into three races and finished the 70 ranks in pursuit, the sprint 42 and 63 in the 10 -kilometer race.

His best result in the context of the World Cup in Oberhof, he reached in 2010 when he reached the 7th place under the most adverse conditions with only one penalty in the sprint. It was both the first point gain and the first place in the top ten. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Kaldvee participated. His best result was 74th in the sprint. After the competitions in Vancouver Kaldvee started at the Biathlon World Championships 2010 at the domestic Otepaeae. In September 2010 Kaldvee explained due to lack of financial support from the Estonian Association of surprising his retirement from competitive sports.
